Terms and Conditions - one to one and small group training
What you can expect from RLI:
- RLI will provide Language Tuition up to the number of hours agreed
- An assessment and needs analysis will be carried out prior to beginning the lessons or at the first session (whichever is most convenient for the student)
- Language lessons will be delivered at the home or office of the student unless other arrangements have been made.
- Tutors will provide informal, ongoing assessment of the student's progress.
- Formal reports both interim (depending on the length of study) and final will be provided.
- Tutors will maintain contact with their students and inform them of any changes to the schedule prior to these changes taking place.
- Tutors will give contact phone details to students to ensure on-going contact throughout the course.
- Where a tutor has to cancel a lesson they will offer alternative times for the lesson.
- Where a tutor is unable to offer an alternative time, RLI will send a substitute tutor where possible.
- Tutors will provide photocopied materials and general listening and reading materials for the lessons.
What RLI expects of you
- The student will give the tutor adequate, more than 24 hours, notice of any cancellation.
- If a student cancels a lesson with less than 24 hours notice, these lessons will be charged as usual.
- Students should, in the first place, call the tutor to cancel or postpone lessons. We can receive such calls at the RLI office, but cannot guarantee being able to make contact with individual tutors within the 24-hour deadline.
- Any concerns regarding the content or timing of the classes should be discussed with the tutor in order to allow the tutor to change or amend these.
- Payment must be made in advance of any lessons starting unless other arrangements have been made.
